Funding Circle targets broker community with new introducer service
Funding Circle has debuted a new service for introducers, as it focuses on serving its broker community.
The former peer-to-peer lending giant will now ensure that each broker has its own business development executive (BDE) as an initial point of contact. The BDE can help with any queries about the loan application process, along with the business development manager.
The new structure is intended to provide “an even more tailored service” to brokers and introducers, who will become an increasingly important part of Funding Circle’s business as it moves away from P2P and scales up its small- and medium-sized enterprise (SME) lending.

“By enhancing the service we offer you, we hope to strengthen the relationships we have with our brokers, as well as speed up our response and application times through the funnel,” said a Funding Circle spokesperson.
“With the impact the current economic environment is having on SMEs, we truly believe this change will help us say yes to even more businesses going forward – and to remain a critical lending partner for our ever-growing introducer community.”
