EstateGuru reaches €500m funding milestone
European peer-to-peer lending platform EstateGuru has funded €500m (£417m) in loans, just three years after reaching its €100m lending milestone.
The platform was founded in 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia, and funded its first loan in January 2014. By March 2019, it had financed €100m of loans.
In 2021, EstateGuru financed loans to the value of of €200m, and by the beginning of 2022 it had hit the half-billion euro mark in cumulative loans funded.
“The success of our business model and strategy in the last years inspires and motivates us to consistently pursue our vision to make real estate financing and investing accessible to everyone,” said Marek Pärtel, chief executive and co-founder of EstateGuru.

EstateGuru recently confirmed plans to launch its UK operation in March, with an office in Manchester. The platform’s capital markets team is arranging a £300m credit line from major banks to underwrite loans.
