Quantuma hires managing director for its London team
Business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Robert Beat as managing director of its London team.
Beat (pictured) brings over 30 years’ experience in the insolvency industry, having previously worked at Baker Tilly Creditor Services, part of the RSM UK Group, for the past two decades.
He has led and set up insolvency departments at Cape & Dalgleish and Morison Stoneham. During his career, he has helped developed business and portfolio risk management tools and a solution to manage all types of insolvency claims.
Beat will be based in Quantuma’s London office, with a UK-wide remit. He will be responsible for building relationships with accountants, lawyers, and asset-based lenders, working with companies and providing support to the business advisory firm’s creditor services team.

In the last year, Quantuma, which is serving as the administrator at The House Crowd, has seen its staff count grow from 188 to 273.
Recently, the business advisory firm has hired David Bell as managing director for its Glasgow forensic accounting team and Kate Hart as managing director in the forensic accounting & investigations team, working in London and the South East.
In March, the company appointed Assetz Capital’s former recoveries manager Mike Horton as a new director for its financial advisory practice in Manchester.
