Folk2Folk adds Fisher German to its valuation panel
Folk2Folk has appointed property consultancy Fisher German to its national valuation panel.
Valuation of land and property for Folk2Folk’s secured lending team takes the form of red book valuations or desktop valuations.
Fisher German will provide red book valuations on the value of the land or property proposed by the borrower as security against a loan.
“We’re very pleased to have Fisher German on board and to be adding their significant property expertise to our small- and medium-sized enterprise lending and investing service,” said Louis Mathers, co-founder and head of legal at Folk2Folk.
“We are delighted to be appointed to the panel and have the opportunity to work alongside Folk2Folk who are extremely well respected in the marketplace lending sector,” said Hannah Rose, associate director at Fisher German.
“There are great synergies between Fisher German and Folk2Folk and we are looking forward to working together.”
Folk2Folk said it will soon announce new valuation partners as it expands its panel to ensure good coverage across Britain.
The platform recently surpassed £390m in cumulative lending and in the first 11 months of the year up to November created more than £2.9m in liquidity for its investors.
In October, the lender completed its largest loan of the year at £7.5m and expressed interest in wanting to participate in the successor scheme to the coronavirus business interruption loan scheme.
