LendingCrowd head of origination joins business finance platform
LendingCrowd head of origination Adrian Innes has left the peer-to-peer lender to join business finance platform Finpoint.
Innes (pictured) has been appointed as chief revenue officer for Finpoint and will lead the company’s sales channel by developing the team and adding to the roster of strategic referral partnerships.
He had worked for LendingCrowd since July 2017 and left in January of this year.
His role has been absorbed across the business.
Innes had previously spent 13 years with Clydesdale Bank and two decades with the RBS before that, all within business lending.

“I’m excited to join the leading online finance marketplace in the UK at a particularly challenging time, during which businesses will need our support more than ever,” Innes said.
“Finpoint already work with a selection of premier trade bodies and associations, and this gives me a sound basis to bring on board further partnerships to enable businesses across the whole of the UK to access finance.”
Finpoint uses Open Banking to match businesses with potential lenders.
“Given the unprecedented consequences of the pandemic businesses need our support now more than ever,” Guy Bridge, chief executive of Finpoint, said.
“Adrian’s experience will be key in growing our footprint, as well as helping to arrange facilities for businesses which require financial support to survive and adapt to the new normal.”
