Mintos adds Albanian car loans to P2P lending marketplace
MINTOS investors can now back loans in Albania.
The peer-to-peer lending marketplace now offers investment opportunities in 11 countries.
Mogo Group, one of the P2P lenders on the platform, is offering access to car loans in Albania ranging from €500 (£425) to €10,000 euros with a maturity ranging from one to 84 months.
Investors can access annual returns of up to 12 per cent and Mogo Group will retain five per cent on its balance sheet for each loan to ensure its interests are aligned with investors on Mintos.

All Mogo Albania-issued loans have a buyback guarantee and an A rating from Mintos.
It comes after Mintos hit €4bn of lending at the end of 2019.
The platform lets individuals and institutions invest in loans originated by a variety of alternative lending companies from around the world.
Its loanbook has been growing fast, having reached €2bn in April and €3bn in August. Launched in 2015, Mintos said it now has more than 215,000 investors from 85 different countries, investing €4,700 on average.
In total, the investors have earned more than €70m in interest, the platform said.
