Landbay names new head of mortgage networks and clubs to boost distribution
LANDBAY has appointed a new head of networks and clubs to help boost its product distribution.
The peer-to-peer lender, which specialises in buy-to-let mortgages, said on Tuesday that it has promoted Joela Jenvey from regional account manager into the role. She will now take charge of developing relationships with brokers, mortgage clubs and networks.
She has worked in business development and as a mortgage broker for firms including Foundation Home Loans, Lloyds and Bank of Scotland, covering buy-to-let, residential mainstream, self-builds, specialist mortgages, offset, and international lending.

“Landbay is going from strength to strength, with record lending volumes each month and prestigious award wins under our belt,” Jenvey said.
“It’s exciting to take on this new role at a time where the specialist market is growing at an impressive rate, and I hope my experience can support the continued growth and expansion of the company.”
Paul Brett, managing director of intermediaries at Landbay, described Jenvey’s experience in the sector as “second to none.”
“This will help us continue to deliver excellent customer service to our brokers, something we believe has been integral to the success of Landbay so far,” he said.
“Joela will continue to expand our distribution on the lending side, helping to meet growing demand for our product across the UK.”
The platform has also said it plans to double the headcount in its underwriting and technology teams over the next 12 months.
