Zopa customers vote Bond’s Aston Martin as most iconic screen car
THE ASTON Martin DB10 driven by Daniel Craig in the James Bond films has been voted the most iconic car in film and television.
The car won 35 per cent of votes in a poll conducted by peer-to-peer platform Zopa.
Inspector Morse’s maroon MK II Jaguar followed in second place with 14 per cent, while Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger from The Fast and The Furious came third.
Doc Brown’s DeLorean from the 1985 film Back to the Future and John Steed’s Bentley from The Avengers completed the top five.
“We’ve seen so many iconic cars on the screen over the years, and often they’re more memorable than the characters themselves,” said Andrew Lawson, chief product officer at Zopa.

“It shows how important cars are to a lot of people, almost becoming part of the family. That’s why a large number of people who take out a Zopa loan use it to buy a car.
“It could be a brand new model, or a second hand vehicle, whatever works for them.”
